This is for both leagues. I've allowed for multiple decisions to make it easier for you. And I'm sorry for not including pitchers but I got too lazy. Perhaps a best pitcher poll will soon appear. Definetly Delgado. His stats alone are good enough for MVP, but don't forget the Jay's are in a 3-way race for the east.

AL: Delgado. Earlier this season I would have said Alfonso, but since then Delgado's been way better than Soriano.
NL: Gary Sheffield or Albert Pujols. Both these guys have great stats, I dont follow the NL as much, so there might be something I dont know :P Being a twins fan, I'm curious as to why Christian Guzman is on this list. He shouldn't be. Yes, he has 9 triples, but he's hitting .268, no homeruns, and has been caught stealing(4) more times than he has actually stolen a base(3). If there's a candidate for MVP from the twins(which right now there really isn't) it would be Jaque Jones. He's batting .307 with 8 homers.

I didn't spend alo of time making the list. I just looked at the leader boards and figured that everyone who should be voted for are on those lists.

As much as I'd LOVE to say nomar or manny, I too have to go with delgado. he's by FAR leading in RBI's and tied for first in the majors with home runs. not to mention a rather decent avgerage and increadible slugging percentage.
To think... I was thinking earlier in the season about how over paid he was

To think, I thought he would be second in mvp voting this year, how stupid I am.
 It's gotta be Shefferz and Cuh-Cuh-Cuh-ARLLLLLLLL-ohz Daaaaaaal-GAH-DOE. Just imitating a radio broadcaster whose name I forgot.

If the season ended today, it would have to be hands down Delgato in the AL. I can't think of anyone even close. Of course, he may fade in the stretch, but he sure is have a career MVP year so far

I don't think that Albert Pujols is getting nearly enough support on this poll. In fact, I think he has passed Delgado for me and he's got my vote now.

Based on HAA points thru June 17, Pujols is leading the NL and Delgado leads the American League. Pretty credible indicator!

Look out for the September Blue Jay slump, which is how Carlos lost the MVP in 2000 and Olerud in 1993. McGriff also had a big September skid back in the 80's once.
