The World's Fever

I thought it might be cool if we were all able to see how far the Fever spreads across the world, and to see which continents have the fever pretty bad. So, here goes:

I'm in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, North America.
North America, 1.
Rest of the World, 0.

Out here about 40 miles west of Chicago, where you love one Chicago team and hate the other. Okay, so I love both of them...

You could also be talking about Alabama...

Chalk up another for N. America. Chicago for school; Naples, Florida for vacation.

for the most part i feed my fever from chicago, il (about 4 miles from flubs field)...but i'm a south londoner (brixton) raised in sunny basildon, essex...and i'm certainly not bothered about my vote going to europe - if we're not having a 'home-countries' category put me down for the good ol' US of A.

razors

(and while we're at it, as i've never posted to the moniker threads, razors was harry shand's 'muscle' in the "long good friday" - as in - "...cut 'im razors" )

Cool, got a buddy from the Blyth area, love it around there ... Taking in Newcastle's many social hot spots on a Friday eve is one of my favorite things in the world to do.

Alas, I fail to see my continent on the list, Texas ... Like the old saying goes, "You can always tell a Texan, but you never can tell 'em much!"

Sweet. NMU Wildcats? Or up in Hancock? I used to own a company in Ishpeming for a little while. I like that western area. Or did you go to Lake State? I drive by there almost every day.

Anyhow, welcome to the forum.

That's great - If you like castles, links golf courses, Roman forts and sheep, Northumberland is the place for you. I work for British Airways, which gives me the opportunity to hop over to the East Coast practically for free to watch baseball games. I'm planning to bring my 6 year old over for a weekend at Shea as soon as the season starts - it'll be his first ball game.

I agree with a night out "on the toon" in Newcastle. Unfortunately, I've not been able to keep up with the lasses since my student days!!

I am an Englishman living on the beautiful west coast of Scotland in Irvine about 30 south of Glasgow, so from here can you can just make out he dull thud thud thud of Rangers and Celtic fans bashing each other.

Cheers
Mark

Chalk one up for the UK

Here I am in Vermont, what Dave Barry dubbed "The Wind-Chill Factor State." That's been true enough this winter! Last summer it hit 100 degrees here, and now there's a bit more than 5 feet of snow on my garden. If it wasn't Spring Training, I'd swear it was still winter here!
