Cubs trade Barrett to Padres

Just in on ESPN NEWS Cubs trade C Michael Barrett to Padres for backup catcher Rob Bowen, and was expected to be in the Padres' lineup Wednesday night.

Now Barrett can finally be on a winning team. I have always been a "fan" of him, even though alot of folks don't like him.

Check this out. Curse of Barrett! LOL Barrett is really no good to any pitching staff. Hopefully the powers that be figure it out soon, or the Pads ain't touchin' the playoffs

I was watching Tony Gwynn's 3000 hit game last night and noticed that Mr. Michael Barrett was playing 3rd base...for the Expos. The announcers mentioned that he "also did some catching."
