Shifting the lineup

I understand that Garner wants to find the right "mix", but it sure seems like he is shifting the lineup a lot this year. It reminds me of the Jimy Williams days. Today Loretta was at short and Lamb at third. Luke and Jason are in a platoon in right. I thought consistent playing time was a key to helping a player find his rhythm. Does it feel like the lineup is changing a lot to anyone else?

I feel like Gar will only mix it up in the early going. You mentioned Lamb at third. I think if the 05' Ensberg comes alive again, then Gar won't rest him and Lamb will get sparing playing time again (when he would be an everyday player on someone elses team). Loretta has come up with some clutch PH for us but there is no place for him either unless we're on the road with a day game, after a night game and biggio gets to rest. We have players that deserve to play with no place to put them. There are worse things than THAT!!!!

Everett was nursing a sore back, hence Loretta getting the call at short. Lamb is going to spell Ensberg once a week or so against certain right-handers.

I think the Stros should trade Ensberg away because a lot of teams would want him and actually play him everyday instead of benching him for Loretta and Lamb.

Unless he's hurt I don't understand why he's being benched 2 games in a row.

Biggio has a .300 OBP and he plays everyday. I know he'll keep playing everyday even if it means HOU loses 135 games... so I am not kidding myself.

Ensberg has a .347 OBP and he can't buy a start.

Please trade him away instead of burying him on the bench where he has little value. Let him play a bit and build up his value then deal him for a pitcher and prospect and let Loretta and Lamb platoon. Now 3 guys are play sparingly at 3B where no one can get into a groove.
