Don't think you looked very hard. I looked up several pitchers that hit 95 that don't let their glove fly behind them. Everyone person I searched I found an image of them with their glove in front of them after follow through except Dontrelle Willis.

Ervin Santana

Johan Santana

Randy Johnson.

Pedro Martinez.

Chris Carpenter.

Joel Zumaya.

Jonathan Papelbon

Mariano Rivera

Roy Halladay ( I had 3 images of Halladay but there is a 10 image per post limit...)

Nolan Ryan

(jeremy bonderman also does it but I wasn't sure if he his 95)

It's not so much of a velocity thing as it is a safety thing.... Infact, it will not decrease velocity at all if you get used to the feel.

A few questions,

1. Did you hit the intended target on that pitch?
2. How old are you?
3. How big are you?

Mechanical Advice:

Your foot is pointing up towards the sky, you want to have everything below your knee relaxed. That means your foot should be relaxed and toes pointing down (limp). This is to prevent landing on a flat foot (heel to toe). Your Glovehand flys behind your body after your pitch, might want to keep your glove in front of your body unless you want to get hit by a drive. Some guys put their gloves in front of their waist-thigh when bringing their hand down and some guys like to put their gloves up against their chest. I can't tell much from this angle, could you put a side-view video up? If you are not getting your elbow above/or level with your shoulder you might want to work on that. That is to get more power from your shoulder complex which (everyone should know) shoulders are very important in pitching. Chris o'leary will tell you differently on that one. Nice job rotating your hips before shoulders, and nice job loading your scapulas.

Edit: Nice job hiding the ball, that will give you some explosive velocity. One thing I see is you might want to add more movement, Greg Maddux tilts his wrist and applies different pressure on his fingers to get more movement. Or maybe you're not being loose enough. You might have enough movement, hard for me to tell only seeing one pitch which could have been a 4-seamer.

1.yes (i have a matress with a painted strikezone on it)
2.20
3.6'6" 250

thanks i'll try relaxing my legs more. i totally forgot about my glove hand and the reason i'm good getting my hips around is because i did track and field for 4 years...it really help you with your explosiveness.

oh yea it was a 4-seam

Dear god you are gigantic...

Considering you have good control, I can't see why you wouldn't be playing for college or maybe independent leagues right now. Not much else to say, your pitching motion looks very nice. (The best mechanics I have personally seen posted on here for analaysis).

I'll try to explain this the best I can but this is what my pitching coaach Jim Putko taught me (played for the Cubs). I notice when you throw you are rotating alot and you are falling to the side. Try to open up your hips 1st and then bring your chest to your knee. I know that was probly really hard to understand and your like WTF is he talking about so ill try to find a picture or a video about that.

As the poster above mentioned, if you open the hips first the shoulders will open naturally.
