its not like he is the only player to get such treatment. Barry and Roger are two who get the treatment like that. comes with the territory nowadays.

Yeah but thats Barry (I hate the guy) and Roger but they are Legends. Soriano is a great player but he hasnt done it for 14,16 years (even though Barry has been in the Bigs for 20 and Roger for 22) anyway the point its way too early for this guy to get special treatment. I mean he isnt even the best Major League Baseball player out there.

Sometimes I think they should just put him in the penthouse of the local Motel 6 or something. When you make $17m/yr, I wonder why you can't simply upgrade on your own to a suite? You play 81 road games, so even if that were an extra $1,000/night, it would still be $81,000. He can't afford that?

Interesting that he was the sweet, loveable guy we'd traded away to get Alex Rodriguez, who himself was said to want some use of a private plane, separate office in the clubhouse, etc. Now Sori's practically doing the same thiing.

Nice guy, but will they need to 4 teammates carry him in on one of those things they carry royalty in? Since he's making 85% of what Manny makes, hopefully he'll remember to put up 85% of Manny's production once he arrives at the plate.

Those are nice incentives to build into a contract, but I don't foresee him collecting any of it.
