yep so close. I've never been so disappointed after a loss. Unfortunately I never had faith that he'd do it, just because hes a Padres. With one out in the ninth my dad asked me if he was gonna do it. I said he really might. He asked if I would put money on it. I had to confess no, I wouldnt... with only two out to go!

i was there and Petco was going crazy at the top of the 9th 1out.Then Joe Randa hit the 2 run homer, every got up and gave Chris a standing ovation. It was nice.
