Roy Oswalt: No-No thru 6

Jose Reyes just reached on a error by Adam Everett to break up the perfect game...

Cmon Roy!

The official scorer changed the error by Everett to a hit by Reyes... so no more no-hitter...

El Duque's only allowed 1 hit and 1 run on a sac fly.

What Mattingly said. Also Reyes' was a clean hit. Everett wouldn't have had him at first anyway. Besides he gave up 2 more hits the next inning anyway.

And the Astros beat the Mets 2-1, and the Astros had only 1 hit.

Roy O's scheduled to work Saturday against the Cards and once more next week against the Pirates (Thu, Sep 28). If Houston's officially dead by then, and they should be, there's always a chance that Garner won't send Oswalt out for that one and give the ball to a young kid up from the minors. But the team is still shooting to at least finish with 81 wins, so Oswalt is still in the rotation as of today for two more starts this year.
