We can still make a run at the Wild Card spot!

You think it can't happen? Look at last year's team ... the team that no one wanted to play in September.

Even if we don't, we can still wreck it for the teams that do have a chance.

Seems like we have some real party poopers. I understand someone from Youngstown but not someone from Detroit.
Cleveland has too far and too many teams to overcome. The pitching is not enough to overcome giving up so many runs, so often.

for the Indians forum..they deserve better...

hate to break up your party, but the Tigers are going to make the

They're still five games up, Donald. Five games. Say it with us all.
Bashing teams like you do is against the site rules, Donny. Don't you know that by now?

It doesn't matter what forum it is, we don't bash teams, period. Just reminding you of that.

sorta like the bizzaro version of BB fever...inna alternative universe...

as long as the mods don't take any action...then Donald will continue
to slag the Tigers as much as he sees fit..but down deep, being
5 games ahead of the Twins & Sox, has gotta sizzle him..

if it's a clear violation of the rules, then he needs to take a hiatus

unless he's learned his lesson..(yeah right )

for true.

It's very tiresome. Especially since it's "not allowed". If friendly smack talk and bashing was OK then he'd be at least walking the line - but on this site; he's well overboard - and has NOTHING to say anywhere, except (to sum it up) ----

"I hate the Tigers now that they have left Tiger Stadium"

I looked at the posts here in the cleveland forum and found no mention of any ballparks. this is the cleveland indians forum and all that was said they did a great job this weekend after having a subpar season so far. so lets hope that the indians end the season on a high note.

The sad part of this is that I agree with Donnie... The Tigers will likely miss the playoffs. MIN and CHI are all better teams, built to their own philiosophies. Detroit is beating up on bad teams.

I dont want to come off as bashing on the Tigers, but I honestly think Detroit will miss the playoffs this year. They are slowly falling to the weaker teams and if Chi and Min win 2 out of every 3, I like their chances. I love Minnesotas chances.

While I can see both of your points, discussion of the Tigers chances, or other teams that aren't Cleveland, does not really belong in this forum.

Donald is obviously tired of hearing warnings from CCN, so has begun to follow his beloved Tigers to other forums. The stupid thing about that is, there is a MOD forum where all this stuff is discussed, and Donald has had a thread in that forum for a couple years now. Watch out, Mattingly, he's coming to your forum next.

Yeah..old Mister Tiger stadium....he reminds me like a bad case of the crabs..the more one scratches, the more itching is there..yikes

As for the Tigers failing to make the playoffs, maybe. But at this point, they still have a 5 game lead..Last season, the SOX had a 15 game lead on the Indians and Twins, before bottoming out at a game and one half, before
winning the division..I don't remember any of you experts predicting the fall of the ChiSox..Funny, they pulled it together, and won the series...How did that happen ? They beat up on a lot of bad teams as well..

With the Tigers...they are still in the drivers seat...I like their chances..and if they don't, great..it's still been a GREAT SEASON for them, after 12 seasons of STANKING OUT the AL central...and compared to the Cardinals, Padres, A'S, ETC...They are a far better team...in my opinion...

Unless they really slide a la 1964 Phillies, the Tigers have a
shot at 100+ wins. That would be one hell of a turnaround
from 2003!

Hey Donald, you do know the Indians now play on that antiseptic toilet bowl of a ball park Jacobs Field, and not the beautiful Municipal Stadium?

As to the Indians, they were the team I feared at the begining of this season, and although, it seems a little late for the playoff fear to be realized. With one good arm in their rotation and the suspect health of Sabathia not coming to bear, I would think next years Indian team will be a monster.
