I like the new guy. It's a matter of needs. We have all sorts of hitters who really can't do anything but play 1B or DH, or so it seems sometimes.

Tell you what, I snatched Choo up and put him on my fantasy team as son as he hit Cleveland, and he's seen time in CF for awhile now. (My LF is Manny, so I'm pretty set there).

Choo is a fine complement to Grady in the field and in the lineup as well. Broussard had a fine half season in a platoon role, and that was the best we ever got out of him.

ya you guys have a freaking good offense that's not even funny.... and your pitching doesnt look TERRIBLE you got cc....but i dont follow your pitching or defense a whole lot either... so why not the record above 500 is it just pitching cuz i did see the 600 something runs you guys have allowed this season..or is it a combination?

When you get the answer to that question, you let Wedge know. Bottom line: we are winning blowouts and losing close games. Could be the bullpen, could be crappy defense, could be bad luck ... probably all three.

Half the time we play like the '61 Yanks, and the rest of the time, it's the '62 Mets.

There was no need for Broussard on the Indians - he is a platoon player at a position we have plenty of organizational depth at - he is arby eligible, i believe, and was not going to be paid....

I think the Indians won on both Mariners trades - but time will be the sole judge...
