For Cryin' Out Loud.

Dayton was quoted extensively in the KC Star today about how pleased he was with the work of Buddy Bell and that there is every likelihood that Bell will be brought back next year for the final year of his contract. What a revoltin' development that would be.

uh ah..sounds like the kiss of death..For Bell...Dayton is probably ready to
pull the trigger on him..If Dayton was truly pleased with the WAY Bell was
handling the Royals, and seemed to be on the same page as Dayton, then
Dayton would have signed Bell to an contract extension...

nope, looks like BELL is outta there !!!

NO news flash here, but I'm pretty sure its a foregone conclusion Freddi Gonzalez will be the next Royals skipper... while I'm sure the Royals and Braves have some sort of accord about Dayton raiding thier organization, Schuerholz and Cox would allow Gonzalez to man his own team...

It won't make any difference who the heck is managing if they don't get better players in that lineup. The days of George Brett seem like a million years ago.
How the mighty have fal len.

Its going to take longer than a couple months to get better players in there but you have to give dayton one thing he is making some moves even if they are small ones.

But buddy bell needs to be gone.
