Angel Berroa syndrome?

Only .014 OBP dropoff, but I can't blame them.

If you hit .300 and they are all singles with no walks you are killing your team.

Because he's terrible. .315 OBP and a .320 SLG out of a supposed leadoff hitter is unacceptable. He's a 4th or 5th outfielder on a team with a decent lineup.

The Astros should have tried to trade him after last season. There are a few GMs out there stupid enough to surrender value for his type of player.

Wow, it's amazing to see so much negativity directed at Willie T.

I'll just say this - CONGRATS, Willie Taveras, for breaking Jeff Kent's club record hit streak yesterday! 26 games and counting...

What's the old saying? "Those who can, do; those who can't, criticize."

Glad to see Chilly Willy get the club record for hitting streaks.

speed kills. How many of those games where he only had one hit, where beat out by speed?

BTW,Willy Tavares just extended his hitting streak to a club reciord 27 games tonight.

He went 2-4 against the Pirates tonight.

The 27 game hitting streak is the longest in franchise history.

What do you think Houston could get for him, and do you really think he would clear waivers and be eligible to be traded at this time?

Nationals in need of a speedy contact CF, why not.

I don't see Houston trading him anyway.

It was a joke.. Obviously you cant trade Wily now...

And to the other guy above me.... You obviously dont know much about Wily if you think it would be unheard of to trade him...
