I'm glad to see that you have something to cheer about in K.C.! It could be that the mix of veterans and young players are starting to get to know each other and what kind of ball works for them. Maybe the 1962 Mets record isn't in danger of falling. Even they won 9 of 12 in one stretch. Enjoy it!

Just a case of catching teams in a funk and playing a little better than usual.

It's a start..and hopefully, the light at the end of the dark tunnel for Royals fans is reachable...It's tough being a Royals fan right now..I went thru a similar nightmare with my Tigers...for the past 12 seasons...hitting bottom in 2003, losing 119 games..It was the toughest summer for me...but here it is,
a few seasons removed..and the club is holding it's own with the White SOX
and others...smart trades, good drafts,a few FA's, the farm system producing,
and hiring the right mgr...Jimmy Leyland...all the pieces have fallen into place.

Not to say within 2 or 3 seasons, the Royals could be back near the top..

anything is possible....go Royals !!!!
