Matt Stairs is a professional hitter,and will if he's playing. At this stage of his career,he provides leadership to the young players. He can handle the type of season that K.C. is having better than the kids,so let him play! I don't see the Royals play but,by the stats, it looks like Emil Brown is one of the more solid players on the team. Stair's production is a little better at this point.

Matt Stairs.

He seems to always drive in the runs at the key moments.
