The King is Dead

The ordeal that was Allard Baird is over. Glass finally fired him and hired Dayton Moore of the Braves. Glass conducted himself in a most unprofessional manner in this affair. He treated a guy (Baird) who took many a bullet for a Glass blunder and Glass just held him out to dry.

***********My Rant on Bud Selig***********
Selig is like a stray pigeon. Pigeons are too self-absorbed to care about anyone else. They poo on people they don't like; they poo on people they don't even know. The only real difference between Selig and a pigeon is that Selig intends to bury our heritage, our traditions, and our culture,

Good for you!

I really hope that Moore gets his way, and is really running things. The Glass family had better let him.

It's not gonna be fast, but he will square up the farm system and player development and scouting, and it will show benefits in a few years if he gets really lucky, or about five years with just average luck. You'll have hits and misses and frustrated fans, but what else is new?

Take it from a Tribe fan ... you can rebuild and have a contender with the right person at the helm.

I have a good feeling about this guy.
