Burgos

hey what do you guys think about burgos i think he needs to go to aaa omaha
and play.

He definatley needs to go to omaha.

Do you see any other players in the big leagues with a 7.36 ERA.

Maybe some but not many and if there is Im sure they havn't pitched almost 30 innings.

Half the Royals staff is at 7+ era. Burgos looked like he had some potential last year, but he can't hardly get anyone out this year. For the life of me I can't figure out how a guy with a 95 mph heater can't get 50% the hitters out regardless of location or movement. Hell, batting practice pitchers have lower BAA's than Burgos.

I can tell you why because when he gets behind in the count all he has is his fastball. They wont throw his splitter because he is to inacurate. So when the hitter sees that fastball a couple times in a row they pick it up.

Not half the royals have a 7+ ERA 3 of them do and burgos is the second highest. Affelt,Sisco,Burgos could all leave the team and we would be better off.
