Good luck to your Rangers, as well.
I don't really look forward to this series as much as you. Just doesn't have the rivalry feeling that MLB is trying to cram down our throats, and I suspect it never will unless the two squads were to ever hook up in the Fall Classic. |

Seems to me MLB does it's darndest to go in new directions, trying to get what they already have. Outside of the Yankees/Mets matchup, I can't get too excited about IL play. Now back in the day, when the Dodgers were in town or the Astros were in LA, that was fierce rivalry, thanks in part to Tommy Lasagna, er Lasorda's antics in an all star game not playing an Astro player. Cards are intense, as are the Cubs. But the difference is respect. The Cards and Astros respect each other, the Cubs and Astros just don't like one another at all.
