Bill Doran?

I just switched over to the Royals-White Sox game and saw a guy making a pitching change. I'd swear his uniform said Doran and it sure looked like baby faced Billy. Is he your pitching coach? that would be very strange because I don't remember ever seeing a position playing pitching coach. The only other thing I can think of is that Buddy Bell got thrown out and Doran might be your bench coach. It makes me realize how little publicity the Royals get these days. I'm going to their website and see who plays for this team. I know Matt Stairs,Mike Sweeney and.....????? Geez, that's bad!!!!

That sure is Bill Doran. Same guy from the 1986 NLCS, this time he found a job with Kansas City twenty years later. He is the current bench coach.

Doran

Thanks Solair. I went to K.C.'s website but it only listed players. There are some good names there that I wasn't aware of. Maybe some of them are past their prime but It looks like management at least made an effort to improve the team.
