Justin Huber promoted to MLB club

Huber has been promoted to take Mike Sweeney's spot as DH while Sweeney is injured.

and then he sits on the bench and doesn't play.
Seriously, this organization is so dumb, it's mind-blowing.

We can't win now, right? Leave Huber in AAA, call up Guiel and move Brown to DH to platoon with Stairs... problem solved.
Instead, they're likely going to start Huber's abritration clock early and narrow their window of success.

This is pure Buddy Bell, folks. Just has to have that veteran presence. Last year he had the choice of playing Terence Long or Matt Diaz. Chose Long, of course, and didn't bother to find out if Diaz could hit MLB pitching. Now we get the thrill of watching Matt Stairs ambulate to the plate with his walker and ignore the young guy once again. No offense to Stairs who is a respected journey player, but for crying out loud when you have a chance to season a younger player you have to do it.

Neither Radke nor Silva (both RHers) have the kind of stuff that would intimidate a young RH hitter.

This is simply beyond the pale of stupidity. Twelve days laters we have seen "Dougie" get 30 AB's while Huber has gotten 7. Huber has also lost AB's to Matt "The Fat" Stairs. Neither Dougie or Matt is hitting .230. Yes, sir, we have to have that veteran presence.

On Buddy Bell, all I can do is quote Rob & Rany, "Jehosophat, the man is a fool".
