MacDougal Our for at Least 4 Weeks
In the never ending sad saga of Baird's Bombers Mike MacDougal has injured his shoulder and will be out at least four and probably six. The Royals medical staff have shown no ability to get guys back on the field in reasonable time frames so expect this to stretch out.

Well, look on the bright side: We'll get to see a potentially good talent in Burgos, flounder for a couple of weeks, then Buddy will be forced to move Affeldt to the closer spot, probably disrupting his great start as a starter, then he'll flounder around, but FINALLY, after 6 weeks, MacDougal will come back and he'll be mediocre. But hey, you gotta have some breaks to be able to lose 100 games every year. Those 100 loss seasons just don't fall off trees, you know.
