Who is going to play 2nd base?
Is Barfield going to play 2nd base or will he be in the minors?

If the season began today I think it would be Barfield. He has been hitting the ball and making the plays in the field so far. However there are a couple of weeks left in the spring.

Barfield's swing
Dr. Chris Yeager has a full scientific analysis of Barfield's swing. You can get it at:

We released Bobby Hill, and they told him they did so because he had no chance of making the team. I think there is only one more infielder to come down, Justin Leone. That would leave Castilla, Blum, Green, Bellhorn and Barfield to play 2nd, 3rd and SS. Eric Young can play 2nd base and the Outfield, Klesko and Gonzales/Young to play first.
Thats what it appears to me right now. |

Well it's Barfield Bochy anouced this yesterday I believe a good move. Bellhorn will be a utility player along with Blum.
