Anybody see these T-Shirts?

An enterprising Nats fans set up this Café Press shop to
make some T-Shirt to wear for the Battle of the Beltway.
(Should be Battle of the Parkway, but never mind.)
Since no trademarked logos are used, he can't get in trouble
with MLB:

Nat Gear

Anyway, I thought of another shirt that someone like Wilkerson
Rules could wear: "Once an Expos fan, always a Nats fan!" Then
again, maybe not. Whenever Montréal gets baseball again, I'm
sure he will switch allegiances to that team, as well he should.

BTW, would the French translation of that be "Une fois un partisan
des Expos, toujours un partisan du Nats?"

Eddie Cunningham

P.S. Love your new animated avatar!

That is correct Eddie, (translation) and thank you for your compliment.

I'd love to get a shirt but I wouldn't wear it.
The Ex-Expos fans would skin me alive!

I got the translation from Babelfish, but it wouldn't have been QUITE so accurate if I went there first. I think their translation of "fan" was what people use to cool themselves off on hot days. Thanks to the Canadiens' web site, I know that the French word for fan as in "sports junkie" is "partisan."

Nah---I'm still a Caps fan, but where else can I learn interesting words and phrases like "partisan" and "tour du chapeau"?

Can't believe I didn't recognize Ovechkin! And I call myself a hockey fan! With the Caps' luck, I wouldn't be surprised if this guy ends up being the Joe Cronin of the Caps and spends most of his Hall of Fame career in another uniform---maybe even as a Hab!
