Security at the Jake

Ok. Intro time: So I am a huge Indians fan. I live up here in Warren, Ohio (MS Streets * Trips reads exactly 45 miles to our usual stop in Shaker heights). We usually try to go to a game a few times a season. The rest of the games we always catch on tv.

Anyways, my primary question: Does anyone have a specific listing of what is and what is not allowed to be taken into Jacobs Field? Reason I ask is because our usual trip up to ANYTHIN in cleveland consists of taking the car up to as far as the Green Line Warrensville stop in Shaker Heights and taking the train in to tower city. We hang out there, have lunch, etc and then go over to the game.

Anyways, I just recently got a new laptop and I am curious if there would be any restrictions to me taking it in with me. My primary reason for taking it is for use in tower city combined with the wificity service. But with the trip would make it tough if I wasnt allowed to take it in with me to the game.

I ran into this same problem this past weekend. We went to the Monster Jam up at the Gund Arena (Now known as the Quicken Loans Arena) and thankfully I had sent an email earlier on in the week and was properly informed I was not allowed to take it with me. So I left it in the car before we jumped on the train.

P.S. Our plans are to go to the Home opener on April 7th to start out the season.

It's all allowed. As long as you don't get caught.

Just put it in your pocket and they won't ask

Just say you work for an independent newspaper, covering the game, but your editor messed up on getting your credentials.

That'd be the case, credentials or not. But laptop or not, I won't try to get in without a ticket. Myself is the one thing I won't be sneaking in.
