Sosa Says No

Sosa rejected the Nationals offer, reported by MLB.com. This is good, good news for the Nats. Opens up the outfield for Church, Byrd, Watson.

Say It Is So, Sammy

Hopefully no other teams will give Sosa an offer. I HATE anybody has ever even thought of taking steriods. He needs to go out of the league along with other juiced players; Bonds ( not official ), Palmeiro, Giambi, Franklin etc. although they are off juice I still hate them for doing it in the first place!!!

That is not true, I know plenty of people who bulked up.

He stopped stealing bases because of Roids? since when does roids stop a person from stealing bases??

In the last 7 season Sosa had 17 stolen bases... does that mean he was on roids?

Well you are saying it is a coincidence because his homers suddenly went up too.

So i will go on an follow up with my point..

Hank Aaron had 16 stolen bases over his last 7 season in the majors as well..

So he was on Roids as well...

No?

No do not put words in my mouth..

I said this.

Let the record show, that Sammy has never tested positive of steroids.

One can assume all they want, and throw their opinions out there..

But they MUST be ready to get attacked with the facts..

And the fact is:

Sammy has never tested positive of steroids.

Like it or not, that is fact.

You're completely right.
Do you want to know why all the Nats fans were against having Sosa on the team?

1)He's on a BIG decline
2)He would barricade Church, Byrd and Watson. He wouldn't give them a chance.
3)He's not worth what he's asking anymore(17 mill last year was apparently not a good idea)

You're quitting?
You mean you're resigning as GM of the AL WEST?

I heard a rumor that Steinbrenner was interested, but he can't be THAT hard up for publicity. Besides, we Nats fans are relatively amateurs when it comes to hard-boiled baseball fandom. Yankee fans who realize how Sosa declined with the O's will skin George alive if he's stupid enough to pay Sosa one million...

***********My Rant on Bud Selig***********
Selig is like a stray pigeon. Pigeons are too self-absorbed to care about anyone else. They poo on people they don't like; they poo on people they don't even know. The only real difference between Selig and a pigeon is that Selig intends to bury our heritage, our traditions, and our culture,
