I liked the Lawrence deal. We got to ship away the remaining $3 mil on our BACKUP 3rd basemen in exchange for a pitcher capable of throwing 200 innings and getting 10+ wins with 75% salary paid for by San Diego.

***********My Rant on Bud Selig***********
Selig is like a stray pigeon. Pigeons are too self-absorbed to care about anyone else. They poo on people they don't like; they poo on people they don't even know. The only real difference between Selig and a pigeon is that Selig intends to bury our heritage, our traditions, and our culture,

Those are some great points, but, I voted for Anderson because although it came at a price of money I did not agree with, I feel that he will be a key to this teams success this year.

I know that, and he was great for them coming off the bench to pinch hit or even start. I feel that our bench players will play a key role this year
