The Orange County Register is reporting this AM that the Angels are very interested in PAUL KONERKO, and have already contacted his agent....

I think it's really going to come down between the Angels and White Sox for Konerko.

We wouldn't overpay for Konerko like what Moreno and Stoneman will do

The Dodgers can void Drew's contract right now if they feel he didnlt live up to his abilities too bad Stoneman did not put that into Caberea and Finley's contract

The Register is reporting today that Konerko was between 60% and 70% sure he would sign with the Angels, and if it weren't for one phone call he would have done so.

Konerko had stated that too in the Chicago media,that plaus the acquisition of Jim Thome ultimately broght Paulie back to Chicago.
