Welcome Message / Forum Intent
Hello Baseball Fans,
Sportsman's, Exposition Park, Recreation Park, and Lakefront Park. Union Grounds, West Side Grounds, South End Grounds, and Huntington Avenue Grounds. Forbes Field, Navin Field, Ebbets Field, and Braves Field. Colt Stadium, County Stadium, Colt Stadium and Munipal Stadium. Bring back memories? Are the modern "green diamonds" more your style? What about playing fields? Astroturf? Like signs in the outfield? No? Bull Durham signs? How about designs in the cut into the grass. Ever tried to recreate a logo in your own backyard? Baseball Almanac opens the 2005 season with our newest forum; Ballparks, Stadiums & Green Diamonds. Here we hope you will find a place to discuss the items I've listed above any anything & everything else specifically related to baseball playing fields. Enjoy, Sean |

Thank you, tonypug. You beat me to the punch on this forum idea, and, for that, I tip my Tiger Stadium-purchased cap to you.

As always,JACKIE42 comes through again.
Love the last photo of Yankee Stadium.Although I believe that pic was not from the late 20s.Note the shadow of the light standards on the field. Regardless, great pics JACKIE42. ![]() |
