Tommy John surgery

Im not sure if this is in the right section or not.. this is my first post here. I was wondering if anyone here has had this surgery. I just had it in june and would really like to hear from other people who have been in the same situation.

im not sure how old you are , but im 18 and tommy john was an option for me , had i torn the elbow ligiment another millimeter i wouldve had to have the surgery , i was in a movement restriction device for a few months , and it took a yr or so until i got full ability back and even now i have to baby my elbow , but i pitch thrugh alot of pain good luck ,how old are you? do you throw a lot of curves/sliders?
