    Inspirational Story!

My last year as a head coach, I coached Logan Eader. He had been a starter his Freshman year at a pretty good baseball school and so, I just couldn't believe that Logan had forgotten how to throw. He couldn't get the ball from the OF to 2nd or 3rd and so, we knew something was seriously wrong.

    Here is Logan's story:

As I typed on all of Logan's "Letters of Recommendation," Logan Eader is my hero! I love this kid. You would to if you were ever able to meet him! Congratulations Logan on your scholarship.

Impressive. No doubt he will succeed in whatever turns to after baseball as well.

In the article, they mention that Logan took IV treatments in a hospital in St. Louis. Those treatments were 2 hours long and, at times, very painful for him. This affliction has not been kind to him. I would come in early and Logan would be in the gym with a teammate all winter long trying to perfect this throwing technique. I know there were times when he had to have asked, "why me." Yet, he had the best attitude of any kid I've ever been associated with. Mark, yes, you're right. He's going to be a success in anything he attempts to do in life.
