Good luck everyone!!! My second full season as a TTMer has been horrible, not bad returns but bad sending out! I have been so busy I have hardly had time to collect cards and write to players. It is my monthly goal to self to put aside time every week for just me, my son and our address book!!!!

    Good Luck!
    Always collecting Yankees...
Especially: Jeter, Posada, Munson, Melky Cabrera, Mattingly

    Today in the mail

George Culver 3/4 8 days; sent c/o GCL Dodgers, returned from his home in California.

    Signed 8 x 10 copies of his Topps '69. '73 and '74 cards and included a 8x10 b/w headshot.

69 card and headshot signed with a fine-point blue Sharpie and inscribed 7/29/68 no-hitter; the headshot adds "Reds vs Phillies"

'73 card with regular blue Sharpie and inscribed "Astros 1970-1972"

'74 card also with regular blue Sharpie and inscribed "Phillies 1973-1974"
Gahd, do I *HATE* the Yankees!!!!!!

    First TTM Failure. Kinda.

Earl Weaver 0/1 c/o home. Increased fee to $20. I'm more concerned about the questions in my letter about Steve Dalkowski, to tell you the truth, so I'm going to try again. If this doesn't work, I'm probably going to try and get Steve's sister to help me out.

    Good day yesterday:

    Bob Wickman c/o home 1/1
    http://mlb.mlb.com/team/player.jsp?player_id=124233

Dave Veres c/o home 1/1 (postmarked from Denver, Colorado). I guess that he is on the Rockies roster: http://mlb.mlb.com/team/player.jsp?player_id=123707

Matt Spring c/o Montgomery Biscuits 1/1
    http://web.minorleaguebaseball.com/m...pbp&pid=452740

Art "Superman" Pennington (former Negro Leaguer) I sent $10 to him a while ago because floods destroyed his home in Iowa a few months back. He sent me two signed postcards, with stats and some pretty neat facts on the back of each. And also told me that if I wanted to write him that I can. I think that I found another ex ballplayer to add to my list of pen pals.

I was considering sending to Weaver. Wasn't his fee $8 before? Good luck next time around.

I think it was something like $8 for cards, $15 for flats, $20 for baseballs. His secretary/general purpose letter claims they still have my card; should I send another (right now I'm only sending another letter, which I figure is likely to easily get lost in the fold)?
