It was recently suggested, with a straight face, that Jay Horowitz be fired.

Among the various supposed horrors he inflicted on fans, both of sound mind and mental cases, was the inability to excell at this part of his job
"to a certain extent his job to guarantee that the fans identify with the team and enjoy being a fan.(fail)"

I'm not really sure what that means, but I suppose someone is unhappy with their fan experience after investing tons of money on authentic jerseys to prove their fan-ness. If so, Jay Horowitz is not the evil villian to lynch. Craig Marino is.

Craig Marino is the Vice President for Guest Experience. For real. That's his actual title.

ipso facto, let me state;
In conclusion, I implore the Mets to get rid of Craig Marino and bring in someone young, fresh and in tune with today's issues and how to handle them.

Sorry Craig, your time has come and gone. Enjoy retirement.

Hey, this could be fun ! We could pick out a new front office person every week to blame for all the injuries this past season ! Yay ! Then we could all be NY's biggest ... uh ... uh ... fans.

Nicely done. A like a good dose of sarcasm.

One thing I gotta ask, though:
Is it "Horowitz" or "Horwitz'? The old Mets yearbooks I have say, "Horwitz," but now nobody seems to know for sure. :noidea
