I've been to most of MLB's ballparks and shoot photos at each of them. The only place anyone ever hassled me about taking photos was at Shea Stadium in 2004. I was wondering what experiences others have had (negative or positive) in their experiences shooting photos at ballparks.

Well I use a Digital SLR, which is a big camera. I have been to a few ballparks, and usually I have no problem taking pictures... The only time I get hassled is if I try to enter another section. I usually ratify that by just climbing, and climbing to the desired location. I take pictures for my flickr (www.flickr.com/photos/JJway2006/sets), and it does get addicting to get the best shots possible.

Who was it, staff or fan?

You didn't try to get a shot of Tony Bernazard developing players, were you?

I've taken hundreds of pictures at Fenway over the last few years, including some really obscure, weird shots. Never had a problem from anyone, as long as I didn't block an aisle or something.

I know that at Rangers Ballpark, you are not supposed to set up a tripod but I have never had a problem.

I think as long as you don't set up a tripod and block anyones view then it should't be a problem.

I had an usher at Chase Field question me before taking a photo. She didn't want me to enter her section and was very hesitant to let me walk down the aisle to take a photo. She eventually let me, but shouldn't have to try an convince her to let me take a picture.

http://www.digitalballparks.com has been refused entry to one ballpark in the United States in the 500 plus that we have thus far posted to our galleries. We will get it one day but there are 1500 ballparks in this world, and well... somebody has to be #1500!

They were ...

The Montgomery Biscuits. Rudest f'n people i've ever met!
