THe great thing about the Milwaukee Braves is that they never had a losing season. The finished .500 once but it is still special.:gt

There's a whole lot to love about the Milwaukee Braves, but that's a good one.

Man for man, position by position the 1957-58 Milwaukee Braves were as good as any team I've ever seen. Incredible depth, terrific up the middle, four future Hall of Famers...

The Milwaukee Braves came to within about four games of winning four consecutive pennants.

You can't go wrong when you have studs like Warren Spahn, Hank Aaron, and Eddie Mathews on your team.

When I was a little guy, my dad used to take me up there two or three times a year, from about 1959 to 1963. I saw all those guys in their primes, that was my introduction to baseball.

And Ed T is correct-if the Braves had won one more game in 1956 and one more game in 1959, they would have won four pennants in a row.
