during the rain delay in tonights game, SNY showed the Mets Weekly with the best single seasons in team history by a player......

They referenced Strawberry's 1987 season as one of the best in team history....then procede to list his opening day homer in Montreal off the roof as a reason why.......yet that homer was hit in 1988. (I believe Mark Healey said it, but someone has to know that's a blatant error before it goes to production)
For an official Mets show to do that is simply terrible and completely careless fact-checking for not getting the year correct on one of the more famous homers in team history.

I've never been impressed with the quality of Mets Weekly, namely these types of countdown things. It looks like it was done on Windows Movie Maker. For those not tech savy, WMM is on every computer with Windows and it's a very barebones video editing software.

SNY needs another team to air when Mets are off-season. Islanders? Devils? Get one of them on SNY please.

I think they do the Knicks games.

MSG does Knicks. They own them.

SNY covers Big East college football. The team they focus on is Rutgers (the only decent college football team in the area). They cover the Jets even though they don't show the games.

By the time football ends there's only a month until Spring Training so there's no need to cover an NHL team. Not even taking into account the NHL's poor popularity.
