Came across a couple of card quizzes online and thought I'd share:

The Baseball Card Brand Quiz (http://www.mentalfloss.com/quiz/quiz.php?q=715&p=1)

The Baseball Card Appraisal Quiz (http://www.mentalfloss.com/quiz/quiz.php?q=742&p=1)

I aced the brand quiz, but missed three on the appraisal.

15/15 - I could probably identify any regular Topps/Fleer/Donruss/UD card from 1952-1991

#1 14/15--missed the '91 UD.

#2 6/12--technically I got 12/12, as a price guide is a guide and shouldn't be the be-all, end-all of determining price, or value, for that matter.

I did the same on the brand quiz, also missing the '91 UD. Thankfully there weren't any newer brands.

10/12 on the price quiz, but I've been out of collecting for a long time.

15/15 and 11/12 for the appraisals. I pretty much stopped collecting in 1993/1994, so I vividly recall those issues.

The Rose is worth more than the Ryan and Seaver? That shocked me. Both the Ryan and Seaver were $1,000 or more, while the Rose was much, much lower at that time. The Reggie was the one I had wrong.

I missed the Rose RC price, too. $1,000 just seems WAY too high for a Rose RC compared to the others.

first quiz- 15 out of 15... I actively collected all of these at time of issue
second quiz- 11 out of 12... I underpriced the 67 seaver- I know it took a hit but I thought it had come down more...oh well. fun stuff
