Okay guys, I came across this framed 1932 World Series poster recently and I'm very curious about its authenticity. I've looked online and found replicas of the poster, but this one seems a tad different. Mostly, the replicas have a white background with polished lettering, but this one looks more a bit more rustic and the lettering has print markings on them.

Another twist to this piece is that a letter was taped to the back of the frame supposedly written by the 'Lou Gehrig Family'. As you can see, the letter was written on a Union Pacific Railroad letterhead. I have uploaded a picture of the poster and letter.

I'm just wanting to find out any information about this poster and if you guys think their is a chance it could be the real deal. Thanks!!

I don't know if it's real or not, but have you seen this one? It has the same print markings that yours does. Look at the "I" in CHICAGO, for example.

Yea, the markings look the same. The difference in that one from mine looks to be the heavier dark border around the edges. Thanks for posting. That's a different one from what I've seen thus far.
