For this part, we will vote for 5 of the 17. Players will be ranked by percentage and ties will be broken with short runoff polls if necessary. Please remember that we are ranking these players in terms of how likely they are to make the HOF if they continue on their present path. There are obviously lots of things that can go wrong in a player's career, so predicting and projecting are encouraged.

Here is our final list of candidates with direct links to their DT Cards:

Ryan Braun (http://www.baseballprospectus.com/dt/braunry02.php)

Hanley is a very close 6th, in fact I almost regret not voting for him.

Hanley edged out Wright for the 5th spot for me only because i'm a little concerned about Wright's power numbers at Citi. They're interchangable though for the most part.

Ryan Braun and Grady Sizemore would be six and seven, though not necessarily in that order.

Pedroia - others are better but middle infielder, if they keep winning he stays good is more likely to go than yet another slugging 1B/LF which gives him the nod over Braun, Tex, Howard, and even Cabrera who I just have a bias against in that I think he will age poorly.

Went with guys a little older when in doubt...longer records. You never know when a guy under 25 is going to go off a cliff.
