Here are two swings from my games this afternoon. I feel like I'm really starting to improve now. I just wanted to show my progress so far.

This is the tread with my past swings.

This swing I got under the ball slightly and was a little out in front. It resulted in a fly ball out of play.

This swing I jammed my self and hit one off the handle. The play resulted in a weak ground ball back to the pitcher. I know the video cuts off a little at the end but I think you can still see most of the swing.

I know I still need work but I was hoping I could get some analysises and suggestions on how to keep improving.

Just a couple of things I wanted to add:

I think my upper body action is pretty where I want it to be. Does anyone see anything wrong with it?

I think the big problem I have now is my hips aren't far enough in front of my upper body. My lead leg is almost straight at contact but then straightens out right after. To me that's a sign that they aren't far enough ahead. And that I can still explode my hips better. Correct?

Since I have been working on my swing I have definitely increased my power. But I am still not where I want to be yet. Is the problem what I was talking about in the paragraph above or is there something else that I am doing wrong that's limiting my power? Right now during BP I am driving the ball to the warning track consistently but I want to be driving it over the fence consistently.

Any suggestions on things I should work on and how to work on them would really help. Thanks

I just want to add a couple of more observations to try and keep it on the front page one last time to see if I can get some help.

I did notice one thing about my upper body. I think my hands are too high at launch. They are a little above my shoulder, while most Major Leaguers are at around the shoulder level.

I don't see much internal rotation of the upper body or any at all in the legs. Can this be robbing me of power?

Based on the last video I posted, it was suggested that I increase the distance between my legs, do they look like they are in a good position now?

I am just throwing things out there. If I am wrong with anything please correct me, I will not be insulted. Thanks again!

You do start the swing with your hips and have a frame or two of separation, could be a bit better.

I would get the bat up a little bit off of your shoulders, it's wrapped slightly at start but not too bad. In the 2nd swing it looks like you might have a bit of bat drag, but again not too bad.

It does look like you are still squishing the but a bit - keeping your weight back on that back foot instead of transferring it forward.

Your hand height at launch looks fine to me.

You might want to PM some of the gurus and see if you can get some more opinions.

Thanks Duke for the help. I will get to work on it.
