2009 Allen and Ginter

Well, unless I'm mistaking big time... the Topps 2009 Allen and Ginter set is released tomorrow! After "Googling" it and looking at what the checklists and so are, it looks like a decent set! However, I'm not sure if I really like the borders on these cards. I dont know why really, thats just me. So what do you guys think of them?

I ordered two hobby boxes that should be coming in about a week or two. I like the way this year's set looks. I'll certainly be building the base set any maybe one of the sub-sets as well. I really, REALLY hope I don't pull a Billy the Marlin relic card. Last year I pulled a red ink Serena Williams autograph from a rip card. This year, I'm looking to pull something HUGE! Maybe a 1/1.:crossfingers:

I ordered 2 boxes. I have seen some sites that say the release date is 7-9. So I don't know who to believe. I don't think anyone knows for sure anymore.

I've ordered a box myself. Topps had June 22nd for the longest time. I've also seen July 1st and like you anywhere from the 7th to the 9th. I'm just hoping to get it sometime within the next two weeks.

Yeah, same here. I think I saw either the 6th or the 7th earlier today. I really dont know. Maybe I'll email Topps and see if I can get a half-way decent answer out of their "fabulous" support staff.

The date has moved around a lot, for sure. I plan to order a box as soon as I get back from my annual baseball trip on Saturday.

Great looking cards, and great for TTM use. Can't beat that.

Well, I got my two boxes of A&G in the mail today. I also bought another box; this one from my local dealer. So to kick things off I decided to buy a few packs of 2006 Bowman Heritage and pulled this Craig Biggio relic. AWESOME! With this pull, I just knew that it was good karma for wonderful things to come. No rip cards this year or any 1/1 cut signatures, or DNA relics....but. Here's the big hits from the boxes. The only one that I didn't scan is the Derrek Lee mini #'d 15/50. Enjoy.
