Did the Mariners even consider drafting Lincecum? Didn't he play his college ball literally almost across the street?

Did the Mariners even consider drafting Lincecum? Didn't he play his college ball literally almost across the street?I guess. He grew up in Bellevue? Attended the U of Washington. Seattle went with Brandon Morrow who is bigger, doesn't have the funky delivery and who hasn't won a Cy Young Award.

lincecum won the cy young last year without a slideball, which he debuted this spring.
he is not yet comfortable with his four-seamer and does not use it. but when he does unveil it...
