Never been there yet. I was thinking of driving down from Charlotte next month with my son to see the Mets-Braves.
Lots of different sections available. Anything I should be aware of, sections to avoid, rows/sections with some obstructed view?
Any advice (other than "stay home ya damn Mets fan") would be appreciated.

There isn't really any obstructed view areas in the stadium. Depending on how much you are going to spend, there are some pretty good deals around the stadium.

Check out that link. Those are pretty good seats. Only $6 each. Normally around $30.
There are also some buy one get one free specials floating around depending on what day of the week you go on. I think I can get bogo outfield Sun-Thurs.
If you are going to drive to the stadium, it's not a bad idea to buy parking through ticketmaster. If you get parking for the green lot, it is normally $15, but even with the ticketmaster fees you will pay around $12.
I'm not sure how old your son is, but the outfield and the upper deck seats as you get closer to the foul poles are usually more of the 'party' areas. You can usually find the more obnoxious fans in those areas. Just thought I would throw that in.
If you need any help, feel free to send me a pm.

Thanks for the info!
Looking on Stub Hub it seems there are some good tickets available at about face value.
May splurge on something down low and close for one game then sit upstairs for the other.
Oh and my son's 17, he'd probably find the rowdy fans more interesting.

Ebay has pretty good prices on seats down low. I have gotten tickets behind the dugout for about $50 for a pair. Stub hub seems to have pretty good prices this year. I just hate all the fees.
At that age, I'm sure your son will find the fans interesting. Especially at a Braves/Mets game. It's always a good time for that series.

Wow, did we get lucky.
Got good tickets for the Friday and Saturday games.
Then this weekend I heard that the Braves are retiring Maddux's number Friday night.
My son and I are Mets fans, but we appreciate the chance to honor a great player.
Also will be an opportunity (I'm assuming) for my son to see some other Braves greats.

Had a great time this weekend. Nice ballpark you've got there in Atlanta.
People were friendly (I guess the Braves winning 11-0 Friday helped...)
We got a bit of revenge watching Santana pitch a good one Sat.

And then we made up for it yesterday.
Glad you guys had a good time. The Maddux ceremony was a nice bonus I'm sure.
