I don't know if any body has done this yet but since the end of the decade is nearing I'm going to hold voting for an all 2000-2009 1st and 2nd team. They will both be 18 man rosters with 9 position players (including DH), a 5 man rotation and 4 relievers. The voting will begin in an hour or two after I make the first poll.
Thanks,
Brandon

Okay but I'm making a team based on a whole decade. For instance if it was a 90's team people like Greg Maddux, Ken Griffey, Mark McGwire, and Barry Larkin would be on it.

Oswalt compares pretty favorably to most of these guys:
Id say Johnson would be my starting pitcher for the decade.
Just off the top of my head, and leaning towards players who played the whole decade and were strong on both ends of the timeline:
Catcher: Jorge Posada, Ivan Rodriguez
First Base: Albert Pujols, Lance Berkman, David Ortiz, and Mark Teixeira (or Delgado/Giambi/Thome/Lee)
Second Base: Jeff Kent, Alfonso Soriano, Chase Utley (played enough??)
Third Base: Alex Rodriguez, Chipper Jones, Miguel Cabrera, and David Wright (if you think he played enough in the decade)
Shortstop: Derek Jeter, Miguel Tejada, Jimmy Rollins, Troy Glaus (cheating of course)
Outfield: Manny Ramirez, Ichiro Suzuki, Vladimir Guerrero, Bobby Abreu, Carlos Beltran, Barry Bonds, Gary Sheffield, Magglio Ordonez, Carlos Lee, Brian Giles, Johnny Damon, Jim Edmonds, Jermaine Dye, Andruw Jones
Starting Pitchers: Johan Santana, Roy Halladay, Roy Oswalt, Randy Johnson, Tim Hudson, Mike Mussina, Curt Schilling, CC Sabathia, Javier Vazquez (or one of ten other guys… you can even put some of the older guys here Clemens? Maddux? Pedro?)
Bullpen: Mariano Rivera, Trevor Hoffman, Billy Wagner, Eric Gagne? (how about John Smoltz here…)
Just off the top of my head… I may be forgetting someone, probably pitchers
