Ha I sometimes feel like a rookie with my 822.
But go to a few minor league games equipped to get autographs. Send out a big batch of TTMs. And your collection will grow real quick.

See, I am usually the last one to make an excuse, but having the inability to drive (underage) I cannot attend as many sporting events as I like. The whole year I attend about 2 Gwinnett Braves games and 4 Atlanta Braves games, getting about 4-5 from the Gwinnett games. But yes thanks for the advice next time I will be armed and ready! :D

Dalkowski, I always seem to be interested by your posts. If you don't mind, may I ask how you obtained such a large quantity?

Let me answer, he enjoys it and can afford it.
By the way, are we counting card autos, or just IP/TTM Autos?
I think I must have 50 IP Autos by now..

He asked me, not you.

I got an almost complete scholarship to Indiana University when I'd already technically saved up the money for college as part of Dad's pension plan. Of that pension plan money, I put 50% of what I got in the bank and spent most of the other 50% on my various hobbies.

I actually need to count one little sub-set of autographs when I get home to get a final count, but TTM/IP autos, I have roughly 980. They're mostly (95%+) baseball, with a few hockey and non-baseball A&G thrown in.
On top of those, I have some certified autos...never counted them all up, but maybe I'll do that tomorrow and see what my "total total" is.
I started collecting TTM many years ago, but slowed to a trickle of activity for a long time. Three years ago, I got back into it actively. I sent 500+ requests last year, and have sent somewhere around 275 so far this year.

I'm approaching 300 for just my Mariners collection. When I add in the other baseball I have I'd guess about 600 or so.

My Autographs: (Majors)
All of these Braves signed one ball from an exhibition game
Ryan Langerhans
Oscar Villarreal
John Smoltz
John Thompson
Wilson Betemit
Pete Orr
Jeff Francoeur (My hero)
Todd Pratt
Chris Reitsma
Jorge Sosa
And 3 that are in like Arabic (I think both Jones' were in the WBC)
Random autographs
Greg Maddux 1998, my dad got this one he said he was a real nice guy
Trot Nixon 2005, my step grandfather's brother was the principal of the high school that Trot went too, said he was a terrific athlete
Mark Lemke 2008, he was doing his talk show at Turner field so I though it would be necessary to ask him for an autograph during the commercial break
Javy Lopez 2008, his son played in the same tournament my little brother did and he signed my Georgia Bulldogs hat, I've worn it every day since
Danny McDevitt 2006, now talk about valuable! This guy played with Pee Wee Reese, Gil Hodges, Duke Snider, Don Drysdsale, Sandy Koufax, and many more. He was in my moms good friends hospital and she got me and her son and autograph. I felt truely honored.
Minors
I have various minor league autographs including Kevin Gunderson (you may remember him from OSU), Eric Campbell, and Jordan Schaefer.
