Any player ever have his first 4 career hits be a single, double, triple, and home run (in any order)? They don't have to be in the same game, only that his first 4 hits be that.

Jerry Brooks did it with the first four hits of his career and also with the last four hits of his career.

Here's an article that I wrote recently about what I call a "season cycle" --- four hits in a season, but one of each type.

According to my source, he had four hits in 1911 but had two singles, a double and a homer. But no triple.

Thanks! For the record, there is one job I do NOT want, and that is trying to be better at trivia than TG (or UC, or janduscframe, to name a few).
