I'm at work and my "websense" internet firewall does not allow me to acess any mainsrteam baseball/ sports websites.

I was planning on going to the Tampa vs. jupiter FSL game tonight with the intention of getting Yankee catching prospect, Jesus Montero's autograph, but have recieved several txt messages from friends today that he was promoted to Double A this morning. I don't know if they're messing with me or not.

Can anyone verify this for me? The info would certainly help me out as I plan my evening.

Well, I have been looking forward to watching him play and getting an autograph (or ten) tonight. I guess I'll shelve those plans till the Spring. If anyones interested in purchasing or trading for any unsigned 8x10's of him I've got plenty (like I said I've realy been looking forward to this).

thats too bad. Its only a 17 hour drive from Florida to New Jersey though...hehe...sorry I couldn't resist.
