I'm not really sure if this belongs in Current Events or Between Innings to tell you the truth.
Anyway, did anyone else see the opening gag from Conan O'Brien's first Tonight Show last night? The joke was he forgot to move to L.A. for the new show, so he ran all the way across the country to get there.
Well, in Chicago they showed him running through Wrigley Field, from right field all the way toward the dugout. Looked like they probably filmed it during an actual pregame warm-up this spring sometime. The stands were full.
Was anyone there for this? Did you know what was going on? Was there any kind of PA announcement at the time?

The Chicago part starts at about 1:52.

I saw that too, I thought they looked like Astros players on the field could have been when they were Chicago May 15-17.

I think they digitially inserted him in many, if not all, of those scenes though. He did the same thing whenever he hosted the Emmys where he was "inserted" into shows. Some stuff they actually filmed (him dropping by The Office and interacting with that cast (creator of the American Office was his college roomie), but mostly it was insertions and splicing together scenes.

Jay Leno's daily Prime Time (10:00pm slot) gabfest is to be using the Burbank studios.
They built a brand new set for O'Brien's Tonight Show over in Universial City.

I wonder if Jerry Seinfeld has ever thrown out the first pitch at a Mets game?

Yes he has.
Do you remember when? How many times?
On his television sitcom he is portrayed as a big Mets fan. I wonder how much of that is true in real life.

The Mets always seem to include a photo of him in their "Stars Seen At Shea/Citi" pages in the scorebooks. Funny though, I never saw him in the upper deck or Promenade level...
