Lelands has an interesting item in their current auction - the deed to Ebbets Field (http://www.lelands.com/bid.aspx?auctionid=905&lot=2).
Were I a Brooklyn Dodgers fan, I'd be all over it. How very cool is that?
If I had the cash I would buy it. I would guess when it gets close to the end I would expect it to go over $7,500.
Half hour to go and its over $8K. Anyone here among the bidders?
It soared in the last 30 min, which is typical of online auctions. The final price was over $15K plus a buyers premium (whatever that is) pushed it over $18K. The thing with sports memorabilia is you have to just want the item because its hard to predict the future value.
