Just taped my son last night again.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YJxwsmr6trQ&feature=channel_page

It seems to me he has some borderline bat drags in his swings especially his first swing. The last two are very hard to tell.

I have never thought he has bat drag before as he definitely not showing that in his dry swings.

Your inputs are appreciated.

I don't see any when I try to pause it on youtube through the swing. I think I see the elbow at his hip. GIF sequence might help you see what you want.

CO used to be a guy to ask about bat drag here. Haven't seen him around lately. He's ok I hope. Probably a nasty hitting thread civil war gone wild.

Kind of hard to tell (due to video quality and the dark background) where his elbow is but it looks pretty good to me.

Thanks a lot Duke. By looking at it I think he may drop his hands a little bit.

I changed my camera's video quality in order to have more fps out of it(30 fps).

I like the swing. I would like to see another video to see if his shoulders are rotating properly - back shoulder rotates up, then goes down thru contact.

If he does, its appears to be minimal.

No athletic position/vertical loading/dead lift position

The point of these two clips is on something else but they do show the vertical loading lacking here.
