Has anyone out here done this trip?
I can do it in four days in August, the mileage between all is not bad and even gives time to do a few other things.
Has anyone had the fortune to do this trip, if not what about what to do in each of these cities if I only could do one other thing in each?
All the games are nite games and mileage like I said isnt bad. The longest leg is Toronto to Detroit at 241 miles, then its 167 from Detroit to Cleveland and 131 from Cleveland to Pittsburgh.

Over the offseason I was planning to do a Cleveland > Pittsburgh > Detroit > Toronto trip in Late May/Early June, but I figured it was going to cost too much money so I just cut out Detroit & Toronto for another time.
It is a great leg of a trip because you can make a nice little circle around the lake. If I drove it would be better, but since I don't I have to rely where Amtrak/Greyhound can take me - and there isn't a good link between Detroit and Toronto.
I'm still going to see NYY play Cleveland and a day later see the Mets play Pittsburgh.

Yankees are in Cleveland from 5/29 to 6/1.
Mets are in Pittsburgh from 6/1 to 6/4.
I'm aiming for 5/30 or 5/31 in Cleveland and 6/1 for Pittsburgh. I'll be heading out on 5/29 if everything monetary goes through.

I am looking at a 8/4-8/7 trip.
I plan on staying at the Skydome Hotel (which its still called) even though the stadium is the Rodgers Centre now.

Ah, the hotel in the Rogers Centre is the Rennaissance Hotel. I would love to stay there, I was trying to get to Toronto this past April - but my acquaintance flaked on me. I really would like to stay at Westin Harbour Castle when I head out there.

Toronto to Detroit is an easy drive. Canada is beautiful. Make sure you stop for snack food at gas stations in CA. They still use cane sugar in Pepsi and Coke products vs corn syrup. Its like you remember pop being as a kid. Try the Clamato potato chips and the Coffee Crisp. Canada knows how to do snack foods right!
What to do in Detroit? Henry Ford Museum. One of the best museums in the country. Maybe the Motown Museum too.
