The end cap on my son's Combat B1YB1 is loose. Is it OK to glue it so that it doesn't come off? If so, what should I use? Super Glue?

Return it. I think Beemax had an issue with a Combat bat and they were great about returns.

Describe loose and DO NOT USE SUPER GLUE!! If it just has a slight gap between the composite and the endcap, do not worry about it. If it is flying out in BP, worry about it and send it back to Combat. They will get it taken care of. Pictures would be helpful.

It's not flying off, but you can move it with your fingertips. I think the fact that my son always pounds the plate in between pitches might be the cause of this. His 1st game is this Friday, so I'd rather not return it and have him be without it for a few games. The bat is a year old, so I'm not sure how long the warranty is. If they'll fix or replace it, I might buy a new one before I send the old one back. Maybe get a Virus instead of a Bomb.

They are really good about returns. I will have to tell you, IMHO, the Virus doesn't hold up to the B1 or B2 in reliability or "pop". The Virus is a great bat, but I think you would be downgrading.

The DaBomb is definitely better than the Virus. If you are going to try and bond the cap I would use epoxy. It's very common for kids to smash the plate with the bat - not good.
